Talk about the benefits of market research! While this only covers winter tires in the US so far, Michelin recently announced a mileage warranty on its winter tires. According to tirereview.com, this is ‘effective immediately, MNA is now offering a 40,000-mile limited treadwear warranty’.

Say it ain’t so! Ontarians who were hoping Premier Dalton McGuinty would offer them some kind of incentive to switch their winter tires got let down. Many auto safety groups headed to Toronto’s Queen’s Park recently to try and convince McGuinty, but the Premier would not be swayed.
